Host Site
VOLUNTEERS OF ALL FAITHS CHANGING LIVES
Family Promise’s shelter program relies on a partnership of interfaith congregations and other volunteer groups to help local families facing homelessness. Our host groups provide meals to families in need along with staple items need to provide breakfast and lunch for their families.
HOST GROUPS
Families are currently being housed in a hotel. A host group team of volunteers may be involved with the following:

Cooking dinner for the families and delivering to the hotel rooms

Providing staple items (milk, juice, snacks, etc.) to families so they can have food for breakfast and lunch
-
Donating necessary supplies for the hosting week
MANAGEABLE COMMITMENT

Families stay in hotels, while volunteers spend 2-4 hours preparing the meal and delivering it to the families
-
Each site hosts families for just one week
-
Guests consist of only two to four families (14 children & adults max)
